Homeschooling asks much of a mother’s attention, imagination, courage, and love. We believe she should not be expected to give endlessly without also being nourished herself.
At Fontes, mothers receive support, encouragement, friendship, and practical training for their homeschooling journey. They are invited to keep learning—to encounter worthy ideas, ask honest questions, grow in wisdom, and notice the threads of truth, goodness, and beauty woven through ordinary days.

Community is built through repeated acts of attention and hospitality—learning, making, eating, celebrating, and wondering together.
Weekly community lunches
Each school gathering includes time around a shared table. We have made room for this unhurried rhythm on purpose, giving children and mothers the time and consistency needed to know one another deeply and build lasting friendships.
Handicraft markets
Beautiful opportunities to make, practice, share, and celebrate meaningful work created by the hands of children and mothers.
Seasonal celebrations
Rhythms of joy and remembrance throughout the year—from a spring folk dance and special Easter-week traditions centered on the death and resurrection of Jesus to an end-of-year celebration crowned by our Shakespeare play.
Nature walks
Unhurried time outdoors to notice, wonder, learn, and receive the beauty of creation in the company of friends.
